    bobby v is doing great at managing the bullpen. lets not forget he lost his closer at the beginning of the season. he pretty much lost his entire outfield too. the sox will turn it around without a doubt.

    Nice game. The rook was big. Veterans came up in the clutch. Bullpen did it's job. Even Buch bounced back from the bad inning to pitch into the sixth. If he can only figure out how to limit the damage when he starts to struggle.

    That four-run inning should have been maybe a two-run inning.

    There was a starter years ago , Bob Turley , who was having problems with his mechanics. He went to a no windup delivery and had a lot of success with it.

    I hope they use the Youk/WM/Gonz--RF lineup tomorrow night. I'll be disappointed it they don't.

    Oh yeah,  Turley.  Miller so long and lanky I believe his own limbs get in his way in the full wind-up.
