that was bogars fault, im not a huge fan of mcdonald, but it wasnt his fault on that one, he was running hard like he should have been and bogar obviously had a mental lapse there for a second
    Posted by redsoxfan94

I don't know that it was either one's fault. Just bad luck. Bogar threw up the stop sign in time, McDonald just couldn't get stopped. He slipped, and there was nothing else he could do. No finger to point on that one IMO.

This is what the Sox need!  Get the team pulling in the same direction with a purpose.  I would think hearing and reading what baseball is saying about this team will light a fire under their collective buts.

I completely agree with you on that. Ortiz would never have done that in the past. I wonder if it has to do with Ortiz contract situation for next year.

Anyone notice the articles about Papi calling for Aceves to be in the rotation? He may be right, but that's not what caught my eye. What gets my attention is the idea that Fracona is losing this team. If the players are coming out to the media and making statements like that, makes me wonder where the leadership is. Know what I mean? Good to see the team hitting a little better so far tonight though. I'll give Francona credit for pushing the right button with Lowrie. That one I didn't see coming at all, as far as the 3r HR goes.

scutaro is the best shortstop we've had in years and very underrated, him and aviles seem to be 2 out of the few guys that have still been playing smart baseball during this skid

Looked like Bogar waved him in , then changed to the stop sign at the last instant. DMac tried to stop , but tripped and fell and got hung up between third and home.

Gammons claims that Aceves value is in middle relief since the starters are only going five innings these days. Nice catch by Connor Jackson. AL will be eating crow also. Did you send out for enough crow tonight?

Connor Jackson wants to play on a PS team. I think that's a bit of what we're seeing tonight. Anyone notice the crowd reaction when he did his Jeteresque dive into the stands? And now the diving catch. This guy will run through walls--literally.

Bogar didn't throw up the stop sign until DMac was already rounding third and the last sign he would have seen was Bogar wheeling him towards home so he lowered his head and started digging, oops! Mea culpa shouts Bogar!!!
