Well, it will be nice to hear a different stream of drivel for once.

In fact, I might suggest a 5 year $70mill contract for Carlos Pena, simply to see a change in the monotony myself...

I would do three years for Napoli 11 is a little rich but this team has a ton of dough to spend.

hamilton is a stud but if youre going to spend that type of money, get an ace like grienke....the difference between the two is if zach is a bust because he is a pitcher (and his medical history) he will always have suitors who would be willing to trade for him and take a chance...if hamilton sux, then he is our Arod..

that's what we thought about crawford...and now he's gone....i'd rather give hamilton big money than crawford...hamilton and arod? we would never sign him to a kind of contract as arod...so don't even bring that up.

Actually now that Kirk Minihane is on record hating the idea of Hamilton in Boston I'm kind of liking the idea of bringing Josh on board, even if we have to go to a 4th year to do it. A 3 4 5 of Ortiz, Napoli(Middlebrooks) and Hamilton would be pretty hard to pitch around.

Just so we're clear, you wanted VMart at $50M/4, but a similar player like Napoli for $33M/3 is too much?

Why?  Offensive stats are similar.  Vmart has a better average, but less power, and similar OBP.  Napoli throws out a few more runners.  VMart has a career WAR of 29.1 v Napoli's 20.0, but in almost twice as many ABs.

Actually, I clearly stated that Napoli was not my first choice, and unlike softy's first 2 choices (Napoli @ $20M/2 or trading farm scraps for VMart), mine are realistic.

I suggested we try and trade Aceves and a prospect at 6 or below on the soxprospects list (likely Brentz, Owens or Cecchini) for Mike Morse.

My second choice was trading "farm scraps" for Kendry Morales.

Signing Loney for $1.5M/1 (softy's most realistic to happen option) is not even on my list.

    Ah he Denis Leary spot.

Actually, didn't they run the commercial with all these fans saying what they would give up, and then a follow up after the series with the collections taking place?

    Re: Moonslav's 2013, 2014 and 2015 plan for 1st Base: Napoli for 33 million

    Yes, I own that.

I do not lie about or deny what I have said in the past. I have admitted my many mistakes. I have argued with you that I do not think some of my positions are mistakes (like Wake, Vtek, and the Dodger trade), but I never deny them. That's the difference between myself and a liar like you.

I do not want Napoli as our catcher, unless it is an emergency of Papi is playing 1B at an NL park. I do not think Napoli compares that well with MLB 1Bmen. I do not like his split differentials vs RHPs (.845) at $11M/yr, but I realize that to get a FA, we'll need to pay more than his "true value".

I do not think he will sign for $33M/3. He will get more than that, so neither of us will be able to say that we'd have Napoli on our team, but my offer is more realistic than yours.

It is kind of funny that you accuse me of trolling and stalking, but here you are starting threads about my positions, going back on your word about not posting on the "Realistic thread", and forever misrepresenting my positions.
