    M.O.P. Dustin Pedroia

The most overated player in MLB...whiny, declining, and cancerous to his team with his passive aggressive nonsense with any manager not named Francona...loved how he "called out" Ellsbury on the last game of the year after stinking up the season with his overrated play...if there was ever a time to unload this guy it is now...he is not getting better and apparently he is not a leader...2011 and 2012 made that clear....if any team is willing to trade him for a 1 or 2, we should do it asap.....Pedro C or Aviles were just as good this yr if not better....and they didnt cry half as much...

Well, it's good to see that even though Beckett and Francona are no longer with the team, you can find someone to rip.

Oh, and by your criteria -- the team faded in 2011 and was lousy in 2012 -- no one was a leader so we should get rid of every player.

Yup, teams all over baseball are lining up to trade "1 and 2s" for whiny, declining 2nd baseman who are cancerous to their teams.  Do you actually read your posts before you hit the add button, because I find it pretty ironic that someone who is constantly whining on this board complains about a player being too whiny...

Pedro and Aviles are not nearly as good as Pedroia.  Any point that you were trying to make went right out the window when you started using that kind of hyperbole.

He had an off year and still hit 290 with 15 homers and 20 steals and played great D.

He also doesn't make real big money.

So he liked Francona and hated Valentine.  If you want to get rid of him for that you would have to get rid of the whole team.

Pedroia is an extremely popular player. Because of that , he might be a little bit overrated. I don't see where he is a whiner. He seems to be a good teammate , and a guy who always gives his best.

Actually, if you look, Pedroia just had one bad month. It's ironic that there has been thousands of posts on this board ripping players for being lazy or not wanting to play with minor injuries, yet now we have a thread ripping a player who works hard and plays hurt and produces.

Man, we've only got a few good players left.  And Burrito is going after Ortiz and geo is going after Pedroia.  Not a pretty sight.
