    Morales

Back in September I posted that I hoped that Morales would be left off the post season roster. Now I'll hopeful that we don't have to see him in any tight World Series game. I've seen the 4 pitch leadoff walks before, followed by him getting behind in the count on the next batter and then getting hammered. I've also seen him getting tagged by lefties which isn't supposed to happen to the leftie specialist. He was the only blemish in an otherwise incredible performance by the Sox bullpen.

He is the lesser of 2 evils between him and Thorton (who is dreadful)

[/QUOTE] You're right about Thornton. He was a hugh disappoinment but don't you think that Dempster or Doubront would be better than Morales? Certainly Workman appears more ready for prime time than Morales.

Would you go w/ an extra bat?

I mean, the 11th man is only going to be used for an inning or 2 and that's purely out of desperation........

Might have been Farrell's only mistake of the series.

Tough assignment for a rookie, though Workman is handling it well. I wrote earlier that I thought Thornton should be selected and Morales left off the roster. Thornton is at least somewhat effective vs LHH; Morales simply stinks.

anyone that has followed the sox all year absolutely KNEW that the moment Morales jogged into the game the first batter he faced was going to walk.  we hoped it wouldnt happen, but we knew it.  this kid should NOT be included on WS roster.
