I know what you mean, but there's enough of us who remain positive and who like intelligent discussions. The irrational complainers I simply ignore. I'll read some posts and just pity them for being so miserable about something that should bring them joy.

    National League pitcher

Take pressure off (as in moving a hitter down from the #2 spot to the #7 spot because you foolishly point to "too much pressure" as the reason why your #2 hitter is hitting like a #7 hitter)

    Fly ball pitcher

Not so much a quote, but I hate when announcers will talk about how much difficulty a team has against another team and reference things that happened 50 years ago to support it.

lifetime team vs team records are useless.  Sox are 64-49 against the Jays.  useless.  Thats a good one.

Innings eater is a good one Burr.  If a guy is giving you a plethora of 5+ ERA ball, thats hurting you.  Hes not eating innings, hes  flubbing innings!!

I may be in the minority, but I want to limit the innings of my weaker pitchers.  Not keep trotting them out there and pretend like they are adding value to my club in some faux role.
