Nava attempts steal 2nd with 1 out and runner on 3rd?

I watched without sound.  Please tell me Jerry or don addressed this at the time.  I could not believe this blunder.  I am fully aware of the double play threat but, by no means, is it enough to warrant that!  Any reasonable explanation would be appreciated.

I think he was sent--like hit and run--but the batter swung and missed.  Very unlikely Nava will steal on his own without a big lead and/or a distracted pitcher.

Bad play. I thought it was going to be a double steal, but the runner stayed on third. Don't know what happened. Hope Farrell addresses it.

Hit and run probably or a missed sign. No way Nava is trying to steal in that situation on his own.

    I didn't  C it  but

some call it aggressive base running

some mgrs have a rep for liking  aggressive base running a tad to much

U got to take the good and the bad with aggressive base running

can't count how many times I've seen it where the catcher won't throw

because of the guy on 3rd

i agree. i like agressive baserunning but sometime it burns you.. like you said zac, you take the good with the bad. you live by the cake and you die by the cake.
