As the subject line says...not a Sox post but I am curious how the board feels about the subject, since many here are baseball history lovers......according to Buster Olney, the Mets have now said that they intend to use a hard cap of 90 pitches for Johan Santana his next couple of starts, after the 134 pitch No hit performance.....how far does the board feel the Mets should and would push Santana if however he was pitching a second consecutive no hitter in his next start? Teryy Collins clearly stated he pushed Santana to 134 the other night becuase of the historic implications of the moment....can't get much more historic than two in a row...J Vandermeer aside. Would they stick to the 90 pitches, or would they let him go for it again?
