    Note to Clay B.

You've probably noticed (who hasn't) that the umps are calling the low strike (for the first time in many years). Keep the ball low, shoot for the corner (either one), change speeds, (use at least four)  and you'll be an easy winner.

And wrap yourself in cotton wool anytime youre not on the mound. Maybe start pitching like you used. Last but by no means least, grow a heart too.

He does? I'm thinking those team options for $26.5m in 2016 and 2017 were a smart contractual move. He looks like a 4th starter who's misses about 30% of his starts (that's a guess) for phantom injuries.

LOL, TWM. You weren't around all day, but predicably, showed up for this.  You also dropped into the gamethread, to make a disparaging remark, about Buch. When I said, Buch looked much better this time out, after you declared he was hurt after his first outing, you didn't have time to stick around, saying you were done. You're a hit and run poster.

According to Pineda, it was dirt!  TWM thinks it's unconclusive, but he's here to keep US, honest

Well please explain to me how he gets the pine tar on his finger tips if he has it that far up his wrist of the same hand?

Would it make sense if he was using that the pine tar was on the wrist of his glove hand?

But that's not where it is. If in fact it is pine tar.

Your hat, your glove, your glove wrist so you can touch it with your pitching hand.

How the hell could he do it with it that far up on the wrist of his pitching hand?

    The picture makes no sense.

You're everything the posters here are saying you are. A guy who only shows up when things are positive in yankee land. Where were you after the yanks dropped 2 straight to the O's? Where were you during the Sox run to a WS Championship?

As for your stupid take on the pine tar it was on the palm of his throwing hand where he could reach it with all of his fingers and in addition roll the ball over the entire area. It clearly wasn't above his wrist as you stated.

Again your lying eyes have failed you old timer.

Do you know anything at all about this game?

         Appears not.

In the fifth inning, NESN showed a shiny brown substance on the wrist of his GLOVE hand, not pitching hand.
