Disagree, and homerish, as usual; Castiglione sounds like he's talking thru a screeching pipe; wihile JS has a mellow baritone; however, it's his contentI don't like, so his vocal quality doesn't matter IMO.

but JC is a HUGE supporter of Franklin Pierce baseball.  support NH.

SW kicks puppies when no one is looking....

    Sure

The only tolerable person in Yankee broadcasting is Ken Singleton.

    Kay is an annoying clown.

Cone won't ever shut up about his career.

Sterling and his botched and delayed calls and goofball HR calls.

    Waldman - no explanation neccessay.

When Rivera got home Sunday, after an unforgettable/emotional day, told his wife that he made one mistake: not thanking media. He's unreal.

I like David Cone as a broadcaster.   Laughing

He gives a lot of insight and is non-biased.

Besides, Cone is a former Red Sox.   Wink

i like when Cone is in the booth with John Flaherty...he and Paul O'Neill

    So true jete02fan!   Laughing

Flaherty,.............another former Red Sox.   I think he was a Red Sox for a month during Spring Training and then decided to retire (if I recall).

Pretty accurate; I like Cone when he doesn't harp on his playing days; and you were all too kind about JS, such as treating his listeners like idiots

Another falsehood. There was Ramiro Mendoza, David Cone, Nick Green, Alfredo Aceves, Mark Melancon and David Wells, amongst others. They also tried to sign MO and Bernie Williams.

At this point, odds are about 10k to 1. And that's assuming they would play well, where in reality they are crisp, as in fried. I'll pass.

              2014  2015   2016   2017

ARod $28M, $21M, $20M, $20M (Plus $6M for 6 more HRs or $12M for 60 more)  He might end up making close to $100M over the next 4 years!

    Saba $23M  $23M  $25M  $25M vesting option w $5M buyout). He is dues $76M/3 or $96M/4.

Teix  $22.5  $22.5  $22.5. He is due about $67M for 3 years after declining every yearr in NYC.

Wells $21M (all but $2.4M will be paid by another club)

Sori  $18M  (softy's one right call this decade.)

Jete  $8M player option with $3M buyout. (Who cares anymore?)

    Suzu $6.5M (See Jeter.)

Everyone of these guys are in serious decline- some for years and years.

    Start spreading the news
    I am leaving today
I want to be a part of it
    New York, New York

    These vagabond shoes
    They are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it
    New York, New York

I want to wake up in that city
    That doesn't sleep
And find I'm king of the hill
    Top of the heap

    My little town blues
    They are melting away
I gonna make a brand new start of it
    In old New York

If I can make it there
    I'll make it anywhere
    It's up to you
    New York, New York

    New York, New York
I want to wake up in that city
    That never sleeps
And find I'm king of the hill
    Top of the list
    Head of the heap
    King of the hill

    These are little town blues
    They have all melted away
I am about to make a brand new start of it
Right there in old New York

Oh well, time to pay the piper.  This is pay back for buying the WS in 2009 (due to exteme jealously over the Sox) which most of us saw coming a mile away...........

I was kind of surprised how shocked jeter was

he basically said 'NO WAY' like he hadn't ever even considered the possibility

kudos to the rays 4 not taking the field until andy came out of his curtain call
