In response to seannybboi's comment:
Sizemore: at Baltimore (3/31), 2 for 4 with HR (1 R & 1 RBI) 0 BB 1 SO Team lost
Ellsbury: at Houston (4/1), 0 for 4, 1 R 1 BB Team lost
**Cumulative Score (Thru Game 7)
1. If the player is unable to play the next game for whatever reasons, it's an automatic loss since he is unable to help the team. If both players are unable to play their next games, that game doesn't count.
2. If both players put up similar numbers but not identical, followings will be the factors to determine the winner.
(Team's win, contribution to team's win, winning HR, hit, R etc.)
3. If both players put up identicak numbers, Rule# 2 factors will be applied to determine the winner
4. W will be given strictly to the player with better stats. Team win contribution comes into play whenever it's difficult to determine the winner by their in-game stats.

what about defense?
we have been tracking Outfield Assists (OA) as that will be in the box score. other than that, it would be easy to track Grady's everyday defense but i will not be watching every defensive inning of Yankees so will not know how many sliding/diving/wall banging catches ells comes up with. i suppose that could come into factor the 18 times they play each other as every inning will be watched. what do you propose lefty?
