I share your sincere concern Bill-806. Papi claims to be at 90% now and I will have my fingers crossed everytime that he runs the bases this year. I'm sure that nearly everyone in RSN has similar feelings and will have their fingers crossed. He is not only our best power hitter but the most liked player by the fans. Once again Bill, thanks for your concern on this matter.
And THANK YOU for understanding my thread when most of the posters here consider it an "attack" on PAPI..... Not so, just some good ole common sense !!! As far as being able to run, Im not sure that just striding in the box won't cause a problem !!

Sounds like you must have the inside track on PAPI's CONDITION & PROGRESS..... Please tell us that you are part of the medical team and we have nothing to worry about ?? Also, can we look at another 30 H R's and another 300 B A ???? Otherwise, we all need to watch the reports on a daily basis........ Heck, Papi could remove himself (DL) before Ben removes ACEVES !!!!

of course he isn't running yet!!!!! why would he? you have to take it slow and gradually ramp it up.....`take BP, do some agility drills, rest. does the achilles feel OK papi? good, take BP, do some drills, rest. does the achilles feel good papi? good, take BP.......
it's not hard to comprehend, there is a long time before the season starts... no need to overdo it and blow out the tendon to appease worthless fans like you..
