OLD MAN crawford ON DL FOR JOGGING YOUNG!

In what could be a trend and an insight into the future, crawful pulled a hammy. its an injury most likely to happen to the overpaid. as you get more money and less driven you pull stuff. playing a non demanding position with little to no pop makes it even more likely that he is severely overpaid. a Yankee fan couldn't be happier. next papi will pull an oblique or perhaps strain a bicep from lifting all those milk shakes. papelblown is due to come up lame one of these days after straining his face for his "tough guy" look on the mound. clearly buch is due for a breakdown (oh wait a minute)..

I guess you will grasp on to anything as the teams head in opposite directions.  The Sox are pitching, which is the key.  If any of the injuries you mention happen, they can survive because the pitchers are keeping them in games.  They are on a roll and you are worried about it.  Could the Yanks turn it around and move into first?  Of course.  But the fact is that you think the trend will continue with the Sox in control.  That's why you focus on injuries.

Not quite jim. This post was just intended to poke fun at communist contrarian's post about jeter.

I hardly consider a 2 1/2 game lead insurmountable. Hardly moving in "opposite directions".

    Nice try though.

Your post may have been that, or was it?  I did not say the Yanks were playing badly because they are not.  However, how many games have changed in the standings between the two teams?  That is an opposite direction move.  Of course 2.5 games are not that many, the Yanks are one sweep away from first place.  The callers on WFAN are not sharing your optimism right now, though.  There seems to be some worry in NYC.

LOL....right, because there's never any red flops fans in here worried about their team.

You usually can do better than that. Not by much, but usually better.

Babe, Communist-contrarian has a rather unusual grasp of the sport.

I'm not saying , right or wrong....good or bad...but very unusual.

Posters like this need not be taken too seriously as they are surely young kids who know more about the game of baseball from the Playstation than from actual games.

Assuming the grade 1 hamstring strain is accurate, I hope we DL him for 15 days to be honest. 15 days on the DL would clear a grade one strain is estimated a 3 week full recovery time, it'd be foolish to start him.

You are right.  Many Sox fans are always worried about the Yanks.  That's the difference.  Now, it is time for there to be worry on the other side.  Just because one is true does not mitigate the other.  Not trying to impress you.  You seem to impress yourself enough for all of us.  I state facts.

You're getting more and more shrill, Babe.

The better we do, the more desparate you become.

It's kind of fun watching you go up in smoke.

Well. It's a LOT of fun, actually.

Your pathetic attempt to mimic another silly poster is quite lame. Is that the best that you can do to get attention?
Banned so many times but yet you keep coming back.
The sad part is that you keep doing it and are probably quite proud of yourself.
