    Posted by BurritoT[/QUOTE]

Some of the threads are bogus as they are started by Babe but the majority of them are Sox fans that have concerns and they debate them.  It happens on the YES board also it was what fans of a team do.....they watch, worry and exult in joy when the team does well. What Beni does is point out Yankee flaws and twists stats to do so.  There are plenty of Yankee fans here who give the Sox credit, why can't Beni do the same?  Why not be an objective realist as opposed to what Beni is?

Of course you would Beni to justify doing what you do.  The thing is, I know that you know the game and could be an objective poster on this board that we all could write with but instead you choose to be a troll.

Mikey - trying to extract real discussion or an utterance of objectivity from Beni is never happening so I don't know why you keep trying. Burrito makes a point about it being a Sox forum. Most of RSN which hangs out here doesn't take Beni's threads for more than what they actually are, comic relief. For us Yankee fans who do hang out here, bashing away at Beni makes no sense. Just have fun with his threads.

Keep on trucking Beni; Crawford and A-Gon may just yet pan out Tongue out.

    It's all good.

Comic relief is a good way to look at it.  mikeyinthebronx would have beni become generic and forsake his uniqueness, and how I ask would this help the forum to be an interesting place?

Beni writes more like I would have written as a teen, and not as I write now - cynical and warped by the reality of the world.  Beni allows for me to remember what it was like to always be optimistic, to tease your opponent on the ball-field, and just to laugh amongst friends.

Mikey - Why must he post with us? Take a look at greatestNYY comments. He has never written a comment with an ounce of objectivity in it. Beni has every right to post whatever he wants. Just do like I do - giggle.

You are my bud here. A real yankee fan who shows respect for the opponent. You are heading down a one-way street.  Why waste your time and energy on a conversation that you have zero chance of turning into a real two-way conversation?

Keep the faith. 5 straight very strong pitching performances by the NY rotation. Colon seems to have recovered from his injuries these last couple of years and remembered that he was once one of the best SP in baseball.

Burrito - Beni's writing may seem like that of a teen, but it is way too premeditated to actually be that. There is intelligence behind the poor writing skills and childish antics. Beni knows exactly what he is doing and how to do it. That is why I like him so much. he is a mad genius.

I didn't say he "must" post with us and you're probably right he won't.  As for the Yanks Colon does look good and the boys aren't even hitting yet.  Its going to be a good season.

    A true story

A Bronx tale:  Kei Igawa is waiting for the call in the minors. Chan Ho Park is ready to make his return as well, as long as the Yankees write out another fat check to him. What's the tally up to in wastefull spending in Yankee land? Lets see; Jeter-over $50 million thrown away. Feliciano-$8 million (mere bag of shells) Damaso Marte-still owed $4 million (chump change by Yankee standards) And Soriano-OH BABY! a whopping $35 million! His contract makes Oliver Perez's deal look like the Mets got a bargin!

    Courtesy of a Yanks fan.

SB: no team have ever won the WS in April.

Mark Teixeira is finally establishing himself as a .250 hitter.  A.J.Burnett is probaly a good five innings pitcher. Mariano Rivera  isn`t pitching like the old Mariano... and to make worse, Mariano  has more miles in his gas mileage than an old Ford Pickup truck.  A-Rod the highest paid player in baseball is off to a good start, but his age and hip issue may turns this smoking gun into a water pistol. And the Yanks Nation is already felling very sorry for the  costly acquisiton of Rafael Sorriano. The Yanks are paying million and million of dollars for these atletes, and they are getting small returns for their huge investment.  The Yanks are a good team, but the price is too high... their price is even higher than the Empire State Building  On the hand, The Red Sox are also paying top dollars to their players, but they may get better returns for their money than the Yanks. Carl Crawford and J.D Drew are the only players on Sox roster that are not earning their money right now. But the good news is that Crawford is still very young and J.D Drew is playing his last year in Boston. Also the Red Sox have the best defenseve & SP rotation in baseball. The Red Sox are young and exciting. In term of long term investment, Theo Epstein will get better returns from his investment. The facts are there. Trust me. Thanks for reading... -SB

To believe Freddy Garcia and Bartolo Colon will remain two-fifths of the Yankees' rotation for the remainder of the season would be naive.

Each right-hander has a history of serious injuries, and they are well on the back side of very good careers.

And you better start looking for a lead-off hitter, because you don't have one.

what is the value of a left fielder batting .163 with 1 HR..........I would say around $500,000 per year but Theo thinks that is worth 20 million per year so he is being payed 40 times his value rather than triple like you claim some yankees are being paid........I will definately take triple before 40 times.
