    Open letter to Ben C!

    Dear Ben,

Please talk to the big bosses and go get K Rod from the brewskies as fast as you can. It would break this red sox fans heart if the freaking tigers get him before we can.

does the red sox need a starting pitcher if bucholtz goes on DL or maybe to be out of the season?

K-Rod never pitch well in AL.

I'm not Ben C., but I hope he can read. While he's at it he needs to swing a deal for a starting pitcher.

well chum, they wouldn't get him as a starter. a middle relief man is what I'm thinking. they were going back and forth on talk radio and for the most part agreed that it would be better if the sox got frankie instead of the tigers.

Really?? Didn't K-Rod have his best years in the majors with the Angels, accummulating something like 200 saves of a 4 year period?

Whatever happened to him took place when he was in the NL...but if healthy may not be a bad pickup, if the price is right.

    208 saves in 7 years.

But you are right.  K-Rod was great in the AL, but that was some time ago.  However, he had 3 top 4 finishes in Cy Young balloting.  Those days are pretty far behind him right now, however.

The Sox could certainly do worse in getting bullpen help.

It all depends on cost, but he's been pretty consistent.
