    Zero,

    It's in his contract.

If you care to rephrase to "only" see Red Sox doctors...

What the heck is this? The pitcher has a shorter sleeve on his pitching arm. I've never seen that.

I'm just taking a guess here.  But, as someone who has experienced a third degree shoulder separation, judging from his facial and body language after the initial moment, I think he might be ok.  Like, maybe out a few games, but not a dislocation or separation.  i don't know.  Wishful thinking.  But, we'll see

Good things can happen when you protect the plate with 2 strikes. Good AB and good double

True. He didn't appear to be in excruciating pain, just some discomfort. He'd have come out of the game either way. Boy, I hope you're right space.

Anyone think the lack of strikeouts/pitching to contact is what's helped keep the pitch count down? I do, and I think it's a sound strategy for Beckett to continue using. He no longer has the power to throw 97 and blow everyone away. Sandy Koufax made a HOF career of pitching like that.

You went to bed before play-off OT hockey, maybe the coolest thing in sports?  Odd.

Really, what is better than game 7 OT hockey..... I say nothing.
