    Salt swings like he has a whole in his bat exactly the size of a baseball. I've never seen a guy swing right through pitches just as if the ball passed through his bat.

    Yeah. I'm not trying to kill Salty. I like the way he plays and he has good power when he connects , but the strikeouts are becoming predictable. Lavarnway looks like he is ready for the job.

    Signs of change.  Ells didn't fake bunt on the first pitch of the game and swung at the first pitch his second time up.  Personally, I'm glad to see him swing at a first pitch strike and not be predictable.
