They made 8 obvious mistakes blunders which resulted in the 150 million plus garbage roster they have now, as I warned before Red Sox management made them:

3, They traded AGon for two prospects and farm scraps, to try and sweep the 50 million total loss of Crawbust under the rug. And the "farm scraps" they got for Agon are two primo pitching prospects, the kind of pitchers who potentially can help a franchise for years to come-AND they got rid of Gonzalez's bloated contract along with Crawford's? If they got nothing for Beckett, Crawford, and Gonzalez it still would have been the right thing to do. And Upton was never coming here; he didn't want to play here. Finally, until Iglesias proves he can consistently hit the baseball he should never be penciled into any major league lineup, and frankly, I think that day will never come.
