Yeah, if he could get a MLB deal or at least have a much better shot at making a team, i dont blame him.I wouldve loved to get him as a project and depth though.

Maybe based on the fact that before last year, he had 2 out of 3 seasons with a sub 3.00 ERA and and 1.225 WHIP. -

Baltimore had a pretty quiet offseason. I wonder how they will do in 2013 especially with the AL East pretty much an even-level playing field.

All I know he pitched a complete 1 or 2 hitter last year in Fenway. A-Gonz, Papi, and Middlebrooks were still in the line-up.
Smart move by Duquette.
I believe he started 3 games against the Red Sox in his career and I think he allowed 4 or 5 runs total in 21 innings or something like that.. -

I agree, but I think his signing has a better upside than say a Cook or Padilla had last year. -

FWIW, Jurrjens also pitched in Bangor, Maine in the Sr. League World Series when he was 16 or 17.
