The stupidity is so great, today, that it's impossible to discuss the issue of sexual behavior beyond the intellecutal level of an intoxicated adict.
"Age of consent" and "statutory rape" and "consenting adults" are the artifice of idiots.
American culture has never been more disturbed with regard to sexual behavior.
Turn on your tv, any channel for examples. Put in any movie for examples. Drive down the road and look at any billboard for examples. The culture is completely saturated with sexual images and inuendos, and you want examples?
No question. Over-saturated to a sickening extent. Follow-up question: how much of this saturation is a bi-product of unfettered capitalism? Moving product is our highest value, far and above any moral notions. Sex sells.
The revolution started with the pill. People could sleep around and not worry about it. Playboy became popular. The kinsey report came out, by the way the guy had to get his info from men in jail and prostitues because people with morals wouldn't talk about such things.
The above started us down the slippery slope, high divorce rate, free s e x, living together, higher abortion rates, porn everywhere you look etc. Before the pill there were 2 or 2 std's now there are over 30.
Because our society is satured with porn we have become numb to it so advertisers have to use more and more shocking scenes to get our attention. Everything comes down to the declining morals in our society.
This was always the case, but it was quieter; during WWII there was a VD epidemic, and frequent extra-marital affairs and alternate lifestyles have occurred since the beginning of time.
