Fuel to the fire.  A conflagration is born. And who's the Yankee who wiped him out and created this picture?  As I recall, he did break up the double play because Pedroia's throw to first was high and took AGon off the bag.

Poor, poor pink hats wanted to soak panties and jockey shorts driveling over Jake on SI. Bald headed bettter player laser show hobbit deserves the coverage. Team leader and outstanding skill set in every facet of the game. Too bad Jake doesn't have those baseball gifts. But he does soak a lot of drawers, even when getting picked off by a lhp in a tie game in the 9th inning with less than two outs.

Idiot.  Stick to the topic or start your own.  Oh I forgot - you've already done that several hundred times.  Get over yourself.

It was Nunez. It was a bush league play sliding after he reached the base and well to the SS side of it. An ump with gonads would have called interference and that would have been the inning without the run scoring !!

No, fans are fine with either player getting attention.  Pedey is the heart and soul of the team.  Everyone knows that.  Unlike you, Pedey feels really happy to be hitting behind such a productive leadoff hitter.  You can spin and spin but Ellsbury sets the table pretty nicely for the middle of the order.  you say he gets on base now because of the players behind him.  Sorry, he is just as dangerous as those players giving the pitcher no place to turn.  Embrace that.

No, AGon and Pedroia excel with Crawford and Scutaro leading off. Ellsbury on the Padres does not excel.
