The score was 3-2 when the rain started, and 7-0 in Tampa. The Red Sox go into the clubhouse, presumably watch the TB game, see the Rays score 6 in the 8th, and probably had the wind taken out of their sails. So even though we weren't playing Tampa, they still managed to beat us tonight. -

No,the Sox beat themselves. 9 game lead and blow it. Start from the top. From Theo down through Tito being a "babysitter" instead of a manager. And then when again, the chips are down,PAPLEBUM throws nothing but fatballs. And let`s not forget "Bumgar" sending Scutaro to get thrown out the plate AGAIN.
This team fell apart at EVERY level. No excuses. We just plain suck. -

You won't see excuses from Aceves - his arm was about to fall off. This game was a good summary of the season, really (except Lester was better than expected on short rest)Ortiz - boneheaded baserunning.Scutaro - dittoBogar - you call yourself a third base coach? Not about the rain delay, even the Yankee collapse - this is about a September collapse, lousy inconsistent baseball - last time two wins in a row was....late August?Gonna be BIG changes following this epic collapse -

Don't get me wrong, the team was pathetic this month, but watching the Rays come back had to be a mental blow to them. But still, there are no excuses. We can all agree that this team could have, and should have been better this year. -

So in the 9th leaving men on base and at one point there was no outs was the fault of the rain ??? LMAO
