Have no idea what Ben is doing, besides sitting on fence, as other teams are paying the price to get better.

Ben is showing patience while other teams are panicking....he's going to be a good G.M.

So both GMs acquired an RP from the WS, but Ben is sitting on the fence, and TB is paying the price?

When Crain had a set back in his return from shoulder injury the Red Sox decided against going after him.  They want someone who can help sooner rather than later

I just hope then the later is like next season, so he can't help Tampa this year.

Young Ben had better do something because he is putting all his eggs in one basket as all the right handed relievers come off the board Frankie KROD and Now Jessie Crain.

As if the Rays NEEDED another good pitcher!!!! Shrewd move by TB. Sox ALSO lost out on Miguel Gonzalez, who was scooped up by the Phillies. Yes, a lot of $ was needed to sign him, but seems a good risk for Philadelphia. Guess the Sox still have sour memories of the Dice-K mess.

Expect the Sox to get a mid-level reliever, but that'll be it. They don't want to trade any of their kids, which may be understandable, and, of course, that's what other teams want from them.

Looks like we'll spend the rest of the season, watching Brandon Workman instead of Jake Peavy or Cliff Lee.  If the team was 8 back, now, that would be acceptable. But, with the team RIGHT THERE, don't you take chance to win it ALL this season? But, it's the Red Sox, remember, who have all of these super-valuable kids just chomping at the bit to be playing in Fenway soon. Maybe, but how'd Will Middlebrooks work out, hmmmmmmmm....???????!
