    He's a lefty outfielder and is behind Nava, Bradley, and Hazelbaker on teh depth chart.

    He's 30 and has over 900 major league at bats.  Good minor league depth, for sure, but we know what he is at this point.

    Maybe, but it's nice to have guys like that, as you never know when the next DMac/Ciriaco/M.Gomez type is going to be needed.

    Mark Hamilton and Brandon Snyder look like nice depth signings so far as well.

    Agreed.  Sign as many players w/ major league experience to minor league contracts as you can.
