What's the problem with Aaron Kurcz--I think they picked him up from the Cubs last season. I noticed he's on the DL with the SeaDogs? He is a big strike out pitcher that I thought might be in AAA by now. Is he expected back soon?

I expect to see Xander Bogaerts in Pawtucket very soon, especially with Iglesias now up with the Red Sox. As for whether he can be a piece in the majors this season, that'll depend on how he adjusts to Triple-A and how that Drew-Middlebrooks-Iglesias trio shakes out this summer.

What separates Garin Cecchini from most of the other bats at his level is just how polished he is. He has a great approach for someone his age, and the power has started to come along even quicker than expected this year. I don't expect them to jump him all the way to Triple-A -- the leap in the quality of pitching is probably too much for even someone like him to handle -- but he'll be in Portland fairly soon.
