    In response to MadMc44's comment:

I must be missing something--I've thought BenC has been a good judge of talent--however I don't understand the man crush he seems to have with Hassan--get over it--DFA him and put Hazelbaker or Brentz on the 40. Hassan will most likely pass through waivers--even if he doesn't you have a plethora of OF'ders. This would have been the time for us to see 'Baker or BB with ShaVic on the bench for a few days.

Lavarnway should be a nice RH option. But I understand wanting to see BB or Haze. maybe they didnt want to DFA anyone right now. I would suspect saving all their chips for a big trade or a few of them. Lots of teams would like a high OBP guy like Hassan and I dont think the Sox want to give away anyone right now, especially when the move is only until Sunday when lackey returns.

Im sure we will see some moves this year.

Not a lot to talk about on the farm today, except maybe Cechinni's continued excellence and a few good games from Hazelbacker and Brentz. Hanrahan and Barnes got hammered. Heh, what goes up can come back down also.
