    Ranaudo after 14 games is 7-2, 2.28 with the Sea Dogs, and Papelbon, a former Portland pitcher,  was 5-2, 2.48 after 14 games in Double A.

    Although Henry Owens did not pitch in the All-Star Game, the California-native did earn a spot on the Carolina League’s All-Star roster after a superb first half in which he went 5-2 with a 3.03 ERA in 13 starts, with 80 strikeouts in 65.1 innings.
