Sutton hadn't pitched since high school. But he told Gary DiSarcina he had done it in the majors when he volunteered.

Iglesias took a pitch to the forearm apparently. I'm just glad it wasn't his wrist. Hopefully it will be ok.

The big news from the farm today was about Cechinni and Workman.

Cechinni is hitting .392 now with something like 4 triples, 3 HR and 8 doubles in 79 AB. The guy has been off the charts, including facing some decent young pitching.

Workman is 4-0 now with an ERA under 3.00 and coming off his best game of the year tonight.

Our starting pitching prospects are now as good as any teams IMO.

    1) Webster

    2) De La rosa ( starting to emerge recently from his TJ surgury issues )

    3) Ranaudo

    4) Barnes ( he will rebound soon IMO )

    5) Workman

    6) Owens might just be the best of them all before he is through
