Are you the banned Communist Contrarian who got banned last week?  In one week HwlloitsMeAgain, Triumph got banned also.  Why are you here? Are you here to irritate Red Sox fans?

Are you the banned Pike who got banned 25 times already (counting all prior aliases)? Why are you here? Are you here to irritate Red Sox fans and pretty much everyone?

If the Red Sox got A-Rod then they would also have gotten Ordonez.  Manny would have been traded to Texas.

One thing for sure, Boston would never give A-Rod a ten-year deal.

If I recall correctly, the Texas deal had Manny and Lester headed south and A-Fraud headed north.

We definitely dodged a bullet there.

You never know how it would have ended. Maybe there would have been more WS wins, maybe Alex would not have injured his hip. There would have been no mike lowell as well or Beckett ?...

we will never know and saying what is going on now would be the same in Boston is just satisfying ones own glee over the Yankees current dilemma .

forgot about that. one roid fraud for another.. as frauds go, would much prefer the happy go lucky manny. at least he hit in the clutch and ignored everything. a-fraud hears everything and it all gets to him!

He was just as dirty as A-rod.

    Take off the blinders.

Where did he say he wasn't? All he said was Manny hit in the clutch and Alex didn't.

I don't read Mazz anymore after listening to the interview last year between Felger, Mazz, and John Henry.

Mazz and Felger are from the "If I scream Loud Enough, I'll be right" school of journalism...

Wastes of time, both of them.

given the Sox' MO on contracts and such, say hypothetically  if at the time he had a Carl Crawford-ish contract(years-wise) , i think he likely would have already been gone by 2010 the earliest....

    Dear A-Rod,

As a Red Sox fan, I hope you finish the remaining five years with the Yankees so that your team has no payroll flexibility.

P.S. Say hi to Torre Wilson for me.   LOL

Who would Varitek have gotten into a fight with in 2004, turning the season around?

The real reson the Yanks want to void his contract is because he's terrible.  If he was good, they'd be attacking the person accusing ARod of taking PEDs.

    Real bright observation.

Yankee fans would prefer to win with a known cheat.

You should back over to the political thread with your illogical nonsense.

None of us knew any of this was going on when the Sox were in pursuit of ARod.

We all thought he was the best talent in the entire game.

Now we find out he might have cheating all along.

Like all the rest of the cheats in the game I want them all gone.

First offense you miss the season second offense you're out of the game.

Arod now looks like the biggest fraud ever in baseball.

All he can do is deny like Clemens did.

TWM, you had no suspesions at all about AROD?? I remember Michael Kay, during a broadcast saying he literally bumped into AROD in the clubhouse before a game and it was like running into a brick wall. He went on and on about how his muscle he had put on.  It screamed HGH.  It will interesting this season, in light of this and random HGH testing, who takes a nose dive.

When I found out Arod failed the 2003 MLB adminstered test I was shocked.

Thought he was just a great talent. And he was so talented coming up and actually didn't need juice and why it caught me off-guard.

You can't tell that in 2003 when the Red Sox were after ARod that you suspected he was a cheat because no one did. There were no rumors out there until Canseco started talking which was after that.

He was roundly considered the best all around player in the game.

Jason Giambi I always suspected because of the whispers, I suspect that he has never stopped using.
