In response to Leftymcrighty's comment:
Dweski, when you have trouble walking, or functioning in ways you've always taken for granted, you reach for hope.
I have managed to avoid surgery, and have 95% of the motion I always had. Only used the stuff for a short while.
I think HGH is more to keep guys on the field and heal faster when they have surgery or injuries.
Fair enough. I was at a bar the other night with my good friend who is a surgeon at RI hospital (graduated top of her class from Yale Med). She knows her stuff. This guy at the bar asks her (once he found out that she was a surgeon): whether she would recommend that he go on HGH. He said that down in South Fla everyone his age (looked to be in teh mid forties) is on it because its actually good for you.
She immediately told the guy that he was incorrect and that there is a reason why his friends have to resort to "health clinics." The stuff is dangerous. And no, 90% of the time it isnt good for you. Sure it may have some healing benefits; however, there are very serious LT side effects. And unless you are in a small percentile (which you appear to be) the risks outweight the rewards.
Im jsut sick of people acting like its some kind of miracle drug. The stuff is pretty serious and usually bad news.
Glad to hear about your sucess with it; however.
