He is going to need ample up ramp time to get back into MLB action.

Re: Ryan Kalish ready to start playing games

We are actually playing some good ball now, and the pitching has been improving.

How things may come together when these regulars come back??? well It would make the team much better if they play to their potential.

If they aren't?!?!? then do you really want a Crawford in your lineup?

I'm confident in the production we will get from the outfield during the second half of the season.  Hopefully it is enough of a boost to throw us into the playoffs

What has Kalish ever done to deserve being the messiah? He hit .250 and is injury prone. He will never be a productive starter.

In 2010 his development was such that he shouldn't have seen the majors, wasn't considered ready, yet came up with both Ellsbury and Cameron out.
He acquitted himself very well defensively , and exhibited enough power and speed to make people excited for his future.

No one is calling him the Messiah.
Whether or not he is injury-prone remains to be seen. Certainly his style of play could lead to it, really too early to tell.
As to your definitive claim that he'll NEVER be a productive starter ?
Respectfully disagree, and have to ask  if you ARE a professional baseball scout or even just an expert, informed evaluator of talent then why are you posting here, instead of being out looking for the REAL next "splendid splinter " ?
