The Red Sox need to win at least five of their 10 remaining games to avoid a 90-loss season.

Who cares at this point if it's 89 or 90. Actually the higher the better. Might as well position for a better draft slot. The Red Sox need to win at least five of their 10 remaining games to avoid a 90-loss season.

Huge game here. Orioles and Sox, A's and Bankees tied. The Orioles could either be tied for first or down two games..or remain one game down. You know where my thoughts are.....

Aceves is coming into the game to surrender the winning runs. Now the A's must score too.

The Orioles and Aceves have done their parts; now its up to the A's and Bankees to do theirs. Tomorrow will complete the sweep.

A's take the lead against the Bankees, 8-5. This afternoon is going very very well indeed. Darn those lucky Orioles.

You really cannot root for the same results for tomorrow? Be honest...if we cannot make the playoffs, why hope the Bankees get in? -

Better than a yankee lose is, they've had to tax their bullpen. -
