    Last 14 days OPS:

    1) Ells      1.260

    2) Iggy    1.164

    3) Carp    1.160

    4) Salty   1.113

    5) Ortiz    1.071

    6) Gomes 1.028

    7) Ross      .944

    8) Nava     .917

    9) Pedey   .903

Amazing to see 6 guys over 1.000 and 9 guys over .900!

Confirms that the stiff Drew should not be in the lineup at all.

Anyone who complains about a 3.84 ERA with two-thirds of the games at Fenway, and all 9 games against top third offensive teams of the AL is not paying attention.

And what is the team era minus the last two games?

It's pretty much like judging an SP based on 2 games.  We're 10th, the NYY 9th, Rangers 11th, Rays 12th. and BA 15th.

I assume then, based on this, that Pumpsie assumes we'll finish 1st, based on the fact that we have better pitching than our divisional rivals over the past 1/15th of a season.

14 game sample sizes confirm nothing, but despite that, I agree Drew (or Middy) should not be playing over Iggy.

Iggy sitting tonight was a crime.
