If you had to choose a starting catcher - under current org control - for the Red Sox for the next 4-6 years (not a randomly chose period, but approximately a contract extention length or a full control period)....assuming full health, and assuming the same annual salary for each....who would you choose?  Me?

1. Salty (decent floor, unknown ceiling)...by far....
2. Lava (unknown floor, unknown ceiling)
3. Swihart et al (a.k.a. cr@pshoot kids)
4. Ross (best sub in MLB?, but career sub and already 36)
