So that makes up for the day Hanrahan got squeezed

OK, I confess.  I whined the day Hanrahan got squeezed on two, two-strike pitches on the black where he didn't get the calls and it ended up costing the Red Sox the game.  Today the Red Sox got the breaks on the questionable calls, first on a 3-2 pitch to Pedey, and later, a 3-2 pitch to Iglesias.

It goes both ways with batters too .... yesterday Papi swung on a pitch that was low and looked bad.  But the pitch before that was a low pitch that the ump called a strike .... so Papi went after the next one... more to protect himself against the prior call than being able to hit the pitch.  IMO.

But youse guys are right, it does seem to balance out.

I can say that it isn't reserved only to get our Sox ... several poor calls made the last two days in the bigs.
