I went to a Red Sox vs. Oakland A's game in Oakland in 2006.  Boston was already out of the playoff race and the A's were in the playoff hunt. 

Only around 18,000 fans showed up.  So sad. 

When Frank Thomas came up to bat, I told an A's fan that Billy Beane was smart for signing him for only $500,000 for one year and the fan had no idea that the A's paid him that much.    LOL




I'm sure I know more about the Astros than most people around here.

I'm so glad they are in the AL. Thats 3 more games a year I get to see my Sox in prime seats.
