SoftLaw's deepest and wildest Dreams about to come true?

Just heard a wild thought on WEEI, so wild it may happen.

First - Elles won't be back as soon as we hoped because Elles and his agent have made a "business decision" to make sure Elles takes more than enough time off to heal and not jeopardize his "Papplebon payday".

Second - Youk is being benched and minimised as he is about to be traded for COCO CRISP!

I await softlaw's triumphant victory speech soon.

Youk might be traded (Dad & Bill-806 are OK with that) but, I hope it is for more than Coco Crisp......  I would be ok with a semi/blockbuster !!!

I'd do a Youk for Cespedes deal. ;-)

Nope...... softlaw was right the other day about Elles coming back when his agent tells him to. The Crisp part was simply based off an idea om WEEI.

I said it was a THOUGHT (comment) made on the radio. AN OPINION. Try not to get confused.

Crisp would be a big acquisition for this team.  Can play all 3 outfield positions, gritty player.  I'm not too sure that oakland would have interest in youk.

I'd do something like Bowden, a lower tiered pitching prospect and Lars for Crisp.

OK, fair enough. Guess I misread. Though I'm not sure what the point of posting it was.

    * It was Meter and Callahan that made the two comments (ideas).

Crisp had 48 stolen bases last year and is only 32. He would be a good addition to the team... a Darren Lewis type, or better - a Coco type.

Some people on here to think more rationale.

#1 - The Sox are not trading Youk for Crisp

#2 - Carl Crawford will be back in less than 2 weeks, leaving us with a starting outfield of Crawford, Ross, and Sweeney.  Both Ross and Sweeney have been pleasant surprises.

#3 - Ryan Kalish will be back some time in June hopefully to fill a roster spot, and show what he can do. Before he got inured he was a star in the making, they should allow him the opportunity to prove it.
