In Response to Re: Sox get four selections to All-Star team : Jasons resurgence or even Salty would be more deserving than Martin. Being voted to the All Star team is an honor and huge accomplishment in ones career. The judging should be a little more deserving.

I agree that Martin shouldn't be an All-Star. But neither do Varitek or Salty. They are certainly no better than Martin.

Sabathia is the most glaring omission. No Teixeira either, but Russell Martin is in. It balances out.
