Sox in desperate need of a good lefty bat

Just thought I'd start another pointless thread in over-reaction to last night's shut out.  I thought Weaver was throwing nasty stuff without all that great a fastball, which he cleverly kept out of the strike zone most of the night.  After the first inning, the Sox never really a good threat to score.

So, anyway, time to go find a good lefty hitter to DH or something.   Not enough the Sox routinely field an all lefty outfield against righty starters, plus a left SS, lefty C, and of course lefty DH.  Occasionally, even a lefty 1B in lieu of Napoli.

Re: Sox in desperate need of a good lefty bat

Sox aren't in desperate need of good lefty bat, they are, however in desperate need to rehaul the pen due to injuries and over-use.
