Veteran actor and current Red Sox Pitching Coach Burt Young (Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III, The Sopranos) needs to pretend to do his job better. He needs to tell his pitchers not to implode so much. -

Tough call here. You do not want to see anyone get hurt playing in these conditions. I would be happy if they called the game. Have to admit though, that would not be fair to San Diego. Pretty sure they will resume play again, at some point. -

Sure it would be inconvenient for SD to have to travel to Boston at the end of the season to make this one up, but there's also the chance that a makeup game would not be necessary if it would not impact either of their respective division races. Umps should never have let this one go as long as they did IMO. Too much risk of injury. If someone had gotten hit in the head with a FB, there would have been hell to pay. -
