N.L. teams are not the push-overs that they have been for the last few years. They have narrowed the gap with the A.L. considerably. Sox need to pick it up or this could be a rough road trip. -

Maybe bases loaded with Dsuck up would of been a great time to pinch hit Ortiz. Is there a rule that states you can only do it late in the game.? I say do it when a game changing opportunity presents itself no matter the inning, -

Cameron and McDonald aside, the Sox just continue to struggle against teams they should beat easily. Can you imagine where they'd be in the standings if they weren't 8 - 1 against the Skankees?

Jon's 9-3 record is largely due to the run support he has received. 8 or 9 runs a game. He really has not pitched very well for quite a few starts now. -

the spankeedom is very foggy now, rockie up 3-2 in 5th, yes troy tulo gets dinger, now 4-2 over the spankee. gumbi has scored a run and homered, too -

Looks like Carl Crawford meant a lot more to this offense than we all thought? Hopefully we'll appreciate him more when he gets back. -
