    Hill,

Right now our so called best three recent prospects in Middy, JBJ and Bogy all have issues either offensively or defensively so until someone stands out on both ends Prospects are just prospects regardless who creates the list.  A lot of our fans can predict how a prospect will turn out as good or better.

    I couldn't open the link.

Who are then 10, and where are they ranked?

Re: Sox place 10 on Sickels prospect list

I think it is only normal to be intrigued by young prospects. It is part of being a fan and a part of life in general. The thing is, other teams have prospects as well. Some make it, some make it big, others don't. A year ago , our top prospects were Bogaerts, Iglesias and Bradley. Today, Iglesias is gone and injured, Bogaerts and Bradley are playing key positions for us and experiencing some growing pains. There is still much hope for them to become stars. Now, we have the latest group. Right now, Betts looks like the cream of the crop.  But nothing should be taken for granted. Three years from now , we may know more. And , three years from now, there will be a whole new bunch of prospects that we have not yet heard of. And so it goes.

Agee with you... Just because you can catch a ball ,you also need to be able to hit or other way around.
