Way to go....Albers gets the side 1-2-3 with 2 K's.  Why not bring him out for the 8th!  No need for Bard

On the bright side, it only took Bard 17 pitches to get three outs and give up two home runs. It took Albers 16 to only get three outs. It's all about efficiency.
seriously.. is there anyone hear who wanted pap traded so bard could replace him?
    Posted by COMMUNIST-CONTRARIAN
Well, I can honestly say I didn't.....

Bard has been either in the zone or it's been batting practice this year...

...well, it seems that way to me, anyway...

My name is Joel Sonenshein.  Feel free to google that if you are really that interested.

Yea, Bling, I'm back in the States and landed in Austin. Just in time to catch half the Rangers season last year. It was a fun ride, I had to adopt the Rangers as my second favorite team.

Yea, Japan is amazing huh. Tokyo is incredible, that city just goes on an on an on.

You still in Maine eating mussels?

Just like that, 2-run lead disappeared.

Beckett must be cussing himself for not pitching into 7th, and letting Albers bridge to Paps.

But who would have guessed Bard would give up back to back jacks.  That must be first time for Bard, and hopefully last time as long as he is in Sox uniform.

We saw it with Paps last year and now, Bard this year. No matter how hard you throw, you have to locate or you will get hit.

True enough, but I think the two dingers were on a change up and a slider, both badly placed.
