hahaha...

    Pete Abraham@PeteAbe

Yankees rushed Ellsbury into a bee-proof room just to be safe.

Am i the only Sox fan who thinks were in a world of hurt?  Hope i'm wrong but i stick by my opinion that Sox are toast unless they fix what i consider a weak team. You can keep your assumed to yourself.
I don't know if you're the only one, but you're the only one I've heard make things sound as bad as that.  We only really lost Ellsbury and Drew and we don't have any injuries at the moment, so I'd say you're being extremely pessimistic, yes.
Not really, crow.  OK we lost Salty too, but Pierzynski should be a suitable replacement.

We didn't lose any pitchers at all.  They're all healthy and we picked up a few new relievers.

Not sure what I'm missing as far as lost players.

Bad scene today, no question.  Yankees hammered Doubront who before this looked pretty good in ST and in good shape.  Another passed ball by Ross.  Gomes loves those solo homers, but generally--this ST, anyway--strikes out with men on base.  And so on.  Nice double by Bradley, always good.

I do not agree this team is in any way broken, but that doesn't mean I am happy with the pitching or hitting, especially 2 weeks before opening day in Baltimore.  Overall, I continue to believe the Sox will have a good season.

He pitched well, TWM, but you knew that. Does it really matter? Sure, you want to see your players do well, but they can't all be gems.  Hopefully, Doubrant got a bad one, out of his system. He's been solid until today
