@ Jete - ALWAYS!  ;)

if the yanks and o's finish with same record do they have a playoff game to decide who wins division?
Yes, apparently so.

I don't care what visiting team it is, it's always tough to play in that indoor plactic dump the Rays call home field.

Not to mention artificial turf, adds a whole different dimension to the game.

I definitely think the Yankees have an advantage at home the last three games.

Of course both teams have to execute and play well.

I'd prefer to see Freddie starting game two over Nova the way he has been throwing as of late.

No the Orioles win the tiebreaker because of the better record within the division.

PD injured his thumb sliding yesterday. Ells said he wanted to give it a go the last few series of the year to play spoiler, but must have reinjured what ever his mysterious injury was or BV decided he needed a day off, with 2 to go.

Not as tough as it can be for Democrat Red Sox fans.

They better send the Yanks to the wild card because if they don't that means the Yanks send the Sox to the cellar...

You think injuries are an excuse?? Do you really think BV wouldn't prefer to beat the Yankees??

The Yankees must consider us like batting practice !!!

I would not worry about Yankees using their best 3 pitchers and not having a good pitcher for a wild card playoff game. Just a couple of more runs and the Yankees can pull Sabathia after 50 pitches and I expect with our minor league line up the same can be done in the next 2 games. Also, after 5th inning the older Yankee stars can be rested.

Oops, gotta fortunately run to watch Monday Night football. Will also switch back & forth to Texas-A's game & root for Sox alumni, Coco Crisp & Reddick. My Giants have clinched !

9-0 after 2nd inning...a football score victory tonight for the Yankees. I don't like the O's after what they did to us last year and Tampa too has had its way with us past few years, but I hate them less than the Yankees...this is really painful !!!
Anyone could have made that prediction with how pitiful the Red Sox are. Might be a new low though laying down for the Yankees to win the division.

After 160 games, four of the American League's playoff teams have a chance to finish with the best record in the league.  Texas and New York both have 93 wins; Oakland and Baltimore both have 92 wins.  If, by some miracle, the Red Sox don't lay down, and they manage to win their final two games, and then Baltimore wins their final two games and Oakland and Texas split their final two games, Baltimore and Texas will finish tied for the best record in the league.  Before the season started, who predicted that to happen?

It's great- GREAT to see so many Sox fans suddenly loving and supporting the Orioles. Many folks @ ESPN and MLB Network have been saying that NYY, Baltimore and Tampa are the "New AL East" and it's real nice to see the O's will have the Red Sox support for the next few years!!

Can't say I blame you AT ALL!!!!
