Thanks!  I'm making a list of places to be sure to go to.  There's nothing like getting information like this from people who live there!

    You're welcome.

The Boston Beer Garden in Greentree Plaza on the SW corner of Airport and Immokalee isn't bad. Also, though it's not necessarily a Boston centric bar, I like the North Naples Country Club on the corner of U.S. 41 and 101st sts. Lots of friendly folk. Best dive in town.

As a matter of fact I'm headed there now. Cheeahs!
No Kidding!  Not only have I been to Boston Beer Garden I stay withing walking distance of the place.  Or staggering distance, as the case may be.  :-)

Note to self;  Add North Naples Country Club to the list of places to visit.  Smile

LOL Same for me with the Country Club.

If you see a guy walk in to NNCC wearing a UMaine t-shirt and a Boston Strong cap go up to him and say Hi.. it might be me. Laughing

I think the most interesting thing this Spring will be watching the development of the young guys. Especially Bogaerts and Bradley, but also the young pitching prospects.
True enough, but often times watching players develop means they make mistakes.  Are we as Sox fans ready to see our team not make the playoffs so these young players can develop?

Myself, no. I expect to see the team make the playoffs every year. I expect management to make every effort to do so. I am disappointed when they don't.  I am not a believer in the so called " bridge year."

Cool. I'll keep an eye out for you. More often than not I'm wearing black, usually a crew shirt from some band or Broadway play. I'm one of a number of stage hands that frequents the place, but I'm the only one who's from Boston.

Red Sox pitcher Jake Peavy left the team's complex Friday with his right wrist and right ring finger wrapped in bandages, according to the Boston Globe.

Peavy downplayed the issue, saying it was nothing. He later joked with reporters, saying he fell off a duck boat. Manager John Farrell confirmed Peavy was hit with a ball, but doesn't consider the injury to be serious. Peavy has dealt with injuries in each of the past couple years. He's thrown over 200 innings just once in the past six seasons.

Jake peavy has a right ring finger irritation after being struck with a hit ball. The injury is not an issue according to John Farrell.

Cooler last night than this morning. These are the good days. You don't want to be here past April. Summers are beyond brutal.

That sunrise looks nuclear... oh, yeah, I guess it is.
