    Stay or Go

Stay or Go (regardless of current contract status) (go - walk, release or trade)

Ellsbury - not worth want agent will want, let him go.

Napoli - way too many bad plate appearances, let him go.

Gomes - definitely stay, strikes out frequently but more than acceptable second tier player

Buchholz - too fragile, resides in another world, let him go.

Salty - too inconsistent, let him go

    Ross - same as Gomes

Drew - definitely stay, whatever it takes to sign him

Middlebrooks - too inconsistent, let him go

Carp - who? let him go

Tazawa - too inconsistent, let him go

you are are letting go too many at the same time these guys helped Boston to win it all this year?  youa re not making a whole alot of sense.

Ben is going to try to keep most of them at the same time he will try not to over pay them.

If you are going to let go these guys, and Ben C. will still bring in same guys who have simular issues at these guys above.

Right now Ben C trusted these men than the ones he is trying to bring in.

wait and see on ells.  I like him and want him to stay..pay him.

nap: love him, hope he stays

    yes to gomes,

Never let a good pitcher walk.  I hated the pregame hype on his last game.  He came thru and that is all that counts.

salty:  Tell me who you are going to replace him with?  Did he even go on the injured reserve list this season?  There is no catcher in the minors ready to come up.

Drew is going to look for a long term deal.  I am on the fence with this one.

Middy came off a season which he broke a wrist and had surgery.  Despite that and the time he spent in pawtucket, he still showed power with 15 homers.  He has pin point accuracy to first from third and can play a pretty good second when dustin needs a rare rest.

Ellsbury - Too $$$.  Avoid being hamstrung 4 years from now.

Napoli - 2-3 years, same incentive laden offer.  He can make the big bucks just like he did this year if he performs.

    Gomes - stick around

SP - not applicable really; in great shape overall for 2014

Salty - Let walk IF McCann doesn't command $100MM;  So probably Salty stay....

Drew/WMB - let Drew go; short and long term options don't make sense; save money and go get a 3B if you really don't trust WMB.

Carp - probably go...he can be a starter somewhere.

    Ross - keep

    RP - Tazawa - keep

    That's all folks
