I'm a history buff in many areas -- sports, music, politics, movies, general American history, etc. -- so when someone says best-ever, my mind automatically goes down the list in whatever category we're talking about. And I've loved Red Sox history ever since I was a kid.
I still love looking at stats of former players and former teams. It helps me keep a perspective when things are going good and bad.

Nice homestand. Need to take this show on the road and keep it rolling. Tough couple of stops coming up this week. A 5-2 record this week would be a great accomplishment.

Too bad Sox had to use Pap in 5 run game and have him throw 17 pitches. Nice if we had someone other than Bard that could be trusted with 4 run lead in 9th. How about Matt Albers? Oh yeah.... he flunked his audition last night for 8th or 9th inning role. NOT READY.

Hard to find any fault on how Tito managed tonight but give 1941 and Georom a night to sleep on it and they will find something. They are the designated Tito bashers of this forum.
