I predicted a close game and still believe it will be a very close 2nd half.

Always suspected that Softy was a NYC Yankee, Jets, and Giants fan. It is now obvious to all but the totally dense and BDC fraternity.

Madonna turns the young woman as object profile upside down, the Networks
allowed 50ish female to have the half time show. Well that's progress, Heidi and Dell have some competition.

The non-call just now on blatant pass interference by the Pats' Moore on Manningham (he jumped on his back and manhandled him way before the pass was near) will probably give the Super Bowl to the Pats...these games are supposed to be well refereed...O well...

I doubt anyone would prefer Madoona over either of those two.

My NFL team is the Green Bay Packers, the greatest sports franchise in the history of professional sports!

I don't like the Giants, but I picked them over the pitiful Patriots schedule and the lousy Patriots defense. Nice to see Brady beat himself, as he is a washed up massive contract who was one bonehead dropped pass from losing yet another playoff game in a row.

    Not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How does Brady beat himself when you admit to dropped passes killing him?

A short thread and a merry one (not).

Not too much to cheer about, I am afraid.

So tell me how much we should look forward to Spring Training.

Trying to be enthusiastic and failing, here.

    But I digress.

Sorry 67. Good game; tough loss. Not having Gronk at 100% hurt.

    Now everyone - don't forget Valentine's Day - it's coming soon.

Two dropped passes on that drive late when Pats had lead. that sealed their fate. No way Brady is as good as Montana. Montana always figured a way to win those games and never lost a Super Bowl.

Don't forget that the one ridiculous referee call in this game was the pass interference non-call on Moore when he clambered over Manningham's back long before the pass arrived...It was blatant pass interference...So put that in the "coulda, shoulda" Pats fantasy pipe when assessing this game and who should or should not have won.......

In any game, in any profession, there will be breaks on both sides of the ball. I certainly wouldn't lay the blame at Brady's feet. And Brady doesn't have the weapons that Montana had and Gronk was at about 70%. I hate the Pats, but Brady is right there in the conversation.

I thought NE played their hearts out as did the Giants. There is always a loser in the end.

    Now let's get to baseball.

So if someone appears in 4 Super Bowls and wins them all, and plays 13 years - vs. - a player who plays in 5 Super Bowls (winning 3) and still has another 3 or 4 years left to play - this makes the former the superior player?

    I do not think so.

morning all, pretty good game..good finish...both teams played hard, Pats flushed a couple of great chances..couple of missed calls(both ways)...strange game football both teams get a 12 on the field penalty, but funny how the G-Men's actually benefitted them..
