    softlaw's posts are all erased due to planned bannings on his part. He said TB would go away. We all know it. He denies it. He didn't deny it on Part I, until September came and TB was still around.

    He claims the current Florida Marlins management team is "the model" of small market teams. He confuses lack of fans for lack of management baseball savvy. The Rays have done a great job with such a limited budget at staying competitive. They have slumped at a key time of the season, but they still have some encouraging signs.

    Jennings has lit it up in his first few games this year.
    Hellickson and Cobb have done fantastic as new starters on a staff already loaded with proven youg starters.
    Joyce has dipped a lot, but has exceeded expectations.

    You get sillier & nuttier all the time. Moon had 1 thread about this, and he has acknowledged that he's probably wrong. In addition, you keep harping on it. Meanwhile, you've been obsessed with Ellsbury on multiple threads till kingdom come, and you now have more egg on your face than Soupy Sales had cream pies.

    The silly clown is even now, still arguing that position by posting the Marlins-TB World Series totals.

    I'd be more concerned about the Angels.

    They can sneak in there and come away w/ the WC.  Which means of course, The Sox have to go for the division title........

    They have a nice staff. The rangers have scored 100 runs more than the Angels, but the Angels are just 2.5 back. That might make the Rangers the WC competition to the Yankees (or Red Sox).

    I agree. The Angels are closer to the Rangers than the Yanks, and I still think the Yanks grab a solid pitcher before the deadline.
